Help me choose a tranny (pls :P)
My setup is as follows;
1991 civic ef hatch
ls/vtec
-stock sleeves
-weisco's & eagles
b16a head
-crane cams single springs/ti
-gsr cams
turbo
-topmount mani
-holset hx35(ie 60-1 w/a .80ish exh housing)
-tial 44mm
-precision 600hp cooler
-s300 w/1000cc inj/255hp pump
-3" exhaust
heres a pic of the car;

this year i ran a jdm b16a cable trans(S1) stock axles, hcp mounts. over the winter i am upgrading to dss axles, solid mounts, and switching to a hydro trans as well.
my best time so far has been 11.59 @ 124mph @ 12psi. i am running 24.5" slicks and currently i cross the traps at around 8500rpm or so. next year i plan on upping the boost and running race gas, shooting for possibly 450-500hp.
i had planned to switch to the gsr trans so i wouldnt have to rev my mildly built motor to the moon. however i have been playing with the calculators a bit and i am unsure now if i should stick with the b16a gearing or move onto the gsr to give me a bit more room to grow.
in a few years i'd like to make more power as well, so i am leaning towards the gsr now, then i wont have to worry. will running the gsr over the b16a make much of a difference? i figure i will be able to trap 135mph or so with the new power which will put me around 8500rpm through the traps, where as the b16a is 9000.
any help would be sweet!

I went 150 on ITR 1-4 gear set. Just switched to GSR 4ths now. That was on a 24x8.5x15 tire rev'n to 9500ish. I would stick with the B16 gearing for that setup.
i'm just wondering if my setup is good to rev that high.
what downsides would there be to the gsr tranny?
thanks for the help.
