Default Headunit Install

Besides just the headunit what do I need to make this a plug and play install ?

There should be a harness for the car and then another for the headunit correct ? So you just plug one up to your stock harness and the other connects to the head unit and you plug those together ?

And what exactly is a dash kit ? It just covers the area around the head unit that used to be covered by the stock radio ?

And in the 95 Accord LX the removal of the radio requires removing the center console correct ?

A mounting kit and adapter harness are needed, connect the HUs harness to the adapter harness, [color for color] if you want real "plug and play" get a "direct connection" harness, if one is avalable for your HU... http://www.scosche.com/product...3/177 94

yea i do recall having to removed the console to do a radio in a 96 accord sedan one time. dash kit = makes new 1 din radio fit into gapping hole now in dash. Wiring harness will plug into factory but you have to crimp or solder the radio's harness to the new wiring harness for your car. Can't remember but most honda's have a bolt behind the radio keeping it held in, its a real pain in the butt.
