Is this the wire I hook my aftermarket tach to?

 

iv never ran a tach off that side, but if ya really want to follow the tach sig wire off the dizzy and see if it goes over there that might work, or check the wire diagram in the back of a haynes or chilton. my tachs ran off my MSD ignition module and when i was ghetto i ran it strait off the dizzy.

 

is the wire blue? if it is then its the wire for your tach. splice it and see if your tach works when you connect to it.

Yes

 

much easier to tap into the cluster wires since they are on the inside of the car all ready... but yes that's the wire.
