problem with timing

Default problem with timing

the crankshaft pulley gear on my car spun out and rounded out the key way . so me and my friend put a new one on with some jb weild trying to fix it but we bolted up so it would get a good hold on the gear now the bolt i think is jb welded into place is there any way to set the timing for the timing belt without taking the crank pulley off .

yes look at the notches on the pully and line it up to the mark on the lower timing cover

we took the timing cover off the only way to get it back on is to cut it and wat mark on the pulley

lol, oh man then the sprocket that the timing belt rides on has a timing mark align that to the mark on the oil pump..i think the marks on the oil pump it a very noticeable notch.

if your crank pulley is clean you will notice it has 3 lines on the ridge, right by where the alternator rides on. it will have 4 notches three ate close together and on is a but farther use the farther line ( notch)
