Default 95 ls bogging and backfiring.... HELP!

alright guys, i put a 99 ls motor in a 95. the motor ran great in the other car, didnt miss, didnt do anything... but run great! I put the motor in my 95 ls, and there is something.... NOT RIGHT!!! the car at first would run okay. if i eas into the gas then stomp on it, it would be fine. if i stomped on the gas it would spit and bog down, and even backfire out the intake manifold, sometimes even stalling out. If i hold it at 3k then go wide open, it revved great. so, i decided to mess with the timing on the dizzy side, retarding it and advancing it to see what it would do, sometimes got better, sometimes got worse. ive put in new plugs, cap, rotor and wires, whole 9. The car is also running VERY VERY VERY rich. in about 5 minutes of messing with it, brand new plugs fouled. its pouring smoke out the exhaust, its rediculous. to add insult to injury, now the car will rev to about 3k, then bog down... idk i think its timing, but someone HELP!!!

You need to adjust ignition timing with a timing light, set it between 16-18 degrees BTDC. Guessing will only cause problems.

Check the MAP sensor and TPS sensor and make sure you don't have the plugs reversed. The connectors are the same.

Are you throwing any CEL's ?

Did you remove the timing belt at all?

Make sure you used the right wires.

95 is OBDI and 99 is OBDII

the car is thoriwng an o2 anf tps cel. which is pretty [freak]in wierd b/c i just put in a brand new bosch o2 sensor, and i put on a blox tps also. those are both brand new. I used the harness off the 95 motor and repinned the alt, and dizzy to work with that harness. and i havent messed with the timing belt at all, i was going to take a look at the timing this up coming thursday. I used the 95 motor harness and put in a p06 ecu, which i was told would work. There is also a sensor on the top of the intake manifold that has a vacuum port on it that the harness does not have a plug with. I put a vacuum cap over the port, didnt change the way the car ran, for the good or the bad. im up to try anything now

I thought that it could be the problem but, cuz it ran great in the other car, but figured it was right. im going to check that today. anyone else have any ideas?
