couple questoins about honda prelude
Money is of no concern to me. Its going to be a cutom show car.
1. How would I go about getting a J32a engine to work in my 3rd gen prelude
2. How would I get the 4ws system from a 5th gen to work in my 3rd gen prelude
3. Where would I get someone to make me a custom conversion kit for an AWD system with the 4ws
Note: thats why I need the 5th gen 4ws is to clear up space for the drive line for the AWD
Thanks

1. A lot of work, fabrication, frustration, learning, and a lot of $$$. Out of curiousity, why a 3rd gen?
2. The 4WS system was from the 4th gen, not the 5th. 5th gen Type-SH's sported the ATTS system, however.
3. Good luck. The 4WS system was never intended to be AWD and you could be introducing dangerous dynamics that make the car unstable. What makes you think the 4WS will free up space for the driveline? If anything, it will only introduce more obstructions and complications.
If you want to go AWD and custom, I would suggest the SH-AWD system found on the Acura RL. In fact, if you want the 3rd gen body and you want an engine from an Acura, you might as well get the engine from the RL that is made to go with the SH-AWD and eliminate a lot of the fabricating headache.

Probably because 3rd gens are lighter, with a better turning radius, and still very elegant. But if this is going to be a show car, like you say, I don't think a 20 year old car is the best option.

EDM 5th gens have 4ws as an option.
to OP, 4ws + AWD is something I've been waiting to see in a Honda. Combine that with ATTS and you have the funnest mountain road machine on 4 wheels.

see Skyline R32 GT-R V-spec....its been done. just not on a honda. That said, I cant imagine the man hours in programming alone. And on a 3rd gen...blah
