i bought a 1993 si del sol with a tenzo big brake kit on it which is ricey(i know). needed brakes and the only pads that i could find were duralast ones from autozone(only place open at the time) so i got the gold cereamic ones part number DG617, which took them and i over an hour to find pads to match. i searched but couldn't find any info on the tenzo big brake kit calipers. wondering if any one knows which front calipers i have and if i can get smaller rotors with my current calipers to run 15's or should i just go back to OEM setup. any info would be great.

 

Are the calipers aftermarket or are they oem calipers with a spacer to accomodate the larger disk?

If you have the oem calipers with spacer set up, all you need is to remove the spacer and re-attach the caliper with the oem bolts. And of course swap out the big tenzo disks with some oem sized blanks.

 

there not stock sol calipers, stock pads wouldn't fit. im thinking that there gsr or similar calipers.
