im pondering about wether or not to buy a coilover kit from ebay says its for a 90-97 accord and i got the 96 wonder if it'll work cuz i had a friend who bout one for his 98 civic and it said from this yr to this yr and it didnt work out for his car i dont wanna make that mistake??

If your model isn't listed for that setup then they won't fit. I personally wont take chances. Why also not contact SK2 directly? I'm sure they will second what I just said !!!
