Get really crappy street tires, that'll spin if you try to launch hard.

I'm the stupid one here?

Read your question.

If you wanted the best traction you'd get slicks, which would require a higher launch rpm.

In fact any tire that will give you a better launch will require a higher launch rpm.

Fuggin noob.

I thought I answered his question pretty well.

The best launches will come at high rpm.

Also I didn't even bring up the fact that his first post was a run-on sentence.

Wow, i didn't know this was a grammar competition...all i wanted to know is what good street tire is good for launching over stock, i don't want slicks im driving on the streets, i might be a n00b to this board, but i know a fair share about my car...
And yes i knew that already reid, yes you will have to launch higher rpms with better tires, im just wondering about a good radial thats not too pricey and decent gripping....

PS. I never said you were stupid, i said your answer was stupid the first time...

For a street tire, get the cheapest thing you can get.

I'd try the AVS ES100.

I use those there ok, they go pretty quick. Used some nittos and they kind of sucked.

Potenza SO-3's. 2.1 60's and one of the best all around performing tires you can buy.
