my 95 eg doesn't have p/s and it ok really it just sucks to parallel park. its harder when the car is not moving to move the wheel. But i don't mind i actually like the feeling i think its more responsive. its gonna def. be shorter

Manual is usually always a longer ratio. If it was a short ratio it would be much harder to steer. Generally, a manual rack is like 20:1 and a power rack is like 15:1. Manual rack tends to give a better "feel" for the road, as it seems you can tell much easier what the tires are doing and how much grip they have. If you plan on autocrossing though, I'd keep power rack. Manual rack can be a pain for trying to steer very quickly back and forth, but for any other purpose I myself see a manual rack as a bonus.

Unless you're seriously a real sissy, manual rack is fairly easy to drive. My girlfriend's 97 DX is manual rack, and she drives it just fine and she's 5'1" and 105 pounds. My friend's girlfriend is only slightly bigger than my girlfriend and she drives the same car without any problems. I actually de-powered my RX-7's power rack (removed lines and pump, broke down the rack and removed the power components and turned it into a manual rack essentially) with a 15:1 ratio and I adapted to it very fast. I loved the response it had.
