I wouldn't just get white bulbs as they put less light on the road than stock bulbs. If you want a new look get the full HID kit.

as u can see below, its going to be impossible to see the bulbs actual colour from a photo.
i bought "white" H7's for the bike for 7 euro and ok they're a lot whiter (makes other bulbs look yellowy orange side by side), but not sure if they actually have more light on the road or not.
i've got blue H1 bulbs in my cars projector lights (not sure what brand) and pretty poor light out of em on the road compared to stock coloured bulbs. here's a pic or two of the car with the blue bulbs

the 1st is taken with the camera set to capture/work best under "tungsten" lighthing..

and the 2nd, the camera is set to "auto"

if you want pictures of my bike head lights i could do it

you did say hyper white but i found these PIAA Xtreme White Plus for sale

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/...HE305

"Xtreme white technology is the closest colour to gas discharge systems at a fraction of the cost
H7 draws 55w produces 110w (HE309)"

they look like a serious *** bulb from a leading lamp company for a serious lookin price (for a bulb) and are likely to be worth a try.
If you do decide to go for a HID kit bear in mind that some of the more blue-ish ones have very poor light on the road (or maybe thats cheap *** ones?)
