Hey, I have a friend that wants to put the seats out of my 93 Integra into his CB7 Accord, he thought he saw it done before but can't seem to find it out. Has anyone out there done this and how was it accomplished, the frame rails don't match up quite right, didn't know if there was a kit or a trick to do this?

I'm in the process of mounting a set of 93ish Integra seats in my CD Accord. Not sure if that will be much good for him or not. I'm not familiar with the CBs seat rail configuration. Welding and some bracket fabrication will be required.

 

Thanks for the reply, checked out your build thread, you're seats are actually newer. it looks like we are just going to have to modify the rails a bit, a cut here, and a weld there. we'll get it done.

 

I think the closest direct bolt up seat for the CB's & CD's are the 92-96 Prelude Seats. I dont think all the bolt holes line up though. They still need to be modded.

 

Thanks for the info. my friend already has the Teg seats and is set on them since the teg seats actually have adjustment capability for the side bolsters as well and lumbar support adjustment, acts like a "stock racing seat"

Well at least most of the driver's seats do, after he rode in my 93 GS-R he was hooked. I love them as well. It's really a sports seat. My seats are actually out of my 92 GS so i would guess that most of the G2 tegs had this option at least.

 

Well the swap was a success! might go back and do it better later, but they are in an bolted down (2 out of 4 anyway) and he's in love with the car again.
