Bay Area Winter Cruise and Meet **San Gregorio State Beach**
So at this point the plan is to cruise together as one big caravan and chill/BBQ at San Gregorio State Beach. The spot has plenty of parking and has several grills and picnic tables.
I am trying to make it easy for everyone since I know there are a lot of Honda heads in the South Bay as well.

**Option number 1**
December 7th (Sunday) at 11ish (at first meeting point). Bring $6 for San Gregorio parking and some extra bucks if you want to pitch in for the BBQ.
We will meet at the Stanford Mall parking lot at the corner of Sand Hill Rd and El Camino Real.
FROM the mall parking lot:
We will take Sandhill Rd to Portola rd.
Make a right @ Portola and take it to 84 (Woodside Rd).
We will then be making a sharp left onto Woodside Rd.
Any input greatly appreciated and stay tuned for more details.
Thanks
Art
EDIT: Now that Option one is the official route, I have to say that this is a beautiful scenic route with lots of curves and I recommend that people take it easy. ESPECIALLY if you have never driven on 84 before. I don't want to have to cancel the meet because someone rolled their car or some BS. I am not trying to be anyone's Mom here, just saying be thoughtful with the way you drive. You know your car better than anyone else and you should know what you/your car can handle

About the food thing, if you guys want to bring food to share then you don't have to pitch any cash in. I might do this as well. Otherwise, when we meet in Palo Alto, the people that didn't bring anything can put together some cash for whatever we need--cups, plates, napkins, etc.

Cool. Thanks for your input. More than likely, this will be the route. Just need more people to chime in.

Yup, but that is on the other side of the bay/peninsula. We would be on the west side of San Mateo.

It's about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic/how you drive. From San Jose to Palo Alto is almost the exact same distance as Palo Alto to the beach, actually.
And since Art won't do this even though I bugged him to do it...here are the screenshots of the route maps.
