1990 accord not turning over barely clicking
been working on my girlfriends 1990 automatic honda accord. It had a rough idle last time it was driving then since it was last shut off, it would not start anymore. we replaced the starter and ignition coil. we tested the igniter it was good what should i do to get it started again.
I would inspect the inside of the Distributor Cap and the rotor as well.
Look paticularly for a blue halo (like a hologram sheen) and what looks like a pencil line on the inside of the cap. Also look under the rotor (where the shaft slides in) with a flashlight and look for a burn mark (it may also appear under the rotor's center contact). Also look for what looks like water spots on the inside of the cap.
If you see any of this, Sh**t-can these pieces and procure new.

It sounds like you have two issues, an original poor idle and a weak battery making the starter click slowly when trying to start the engine.
