How can I tell if I have a Non-Immobilizer equipped OBD2b ECU???
I have an obd2b ecu out of a 99 civic si that I got from a junk yard. How can I tell if I have a non-immobilizer ecu?
I have a 98 hatch (obd2a chassis) and a complete swap from a 99 si (obd2b engine/ecu). I am looking to buy a jumper harness and they are telling me my ecu has to be a non-immobilizer ecu.
Any help?
Thanks guys,
Greg

So far as I know the '99 - '00 civics don't have an immobilizer. USDM '99 - '01 integras and '97+ preludes do though.
I hope that is the case. I have searched all over the place and haven't been able to find much on it. I would hate to do my swap and then find out my car wont start because of it.
