yes i know this is suppose to be in the kill section but i didnt want to put this story in there. So if u read the other story about my friend with the '98 C.W. ITR. (the heading reads problem with 92 preludes. Well i smoked his ITR, so he was mad, he decided to get our other friend to race me. He has a '00 civic SI, I/H/E, fuel rail, pulleys etc... So i said lets go.... Well what do u know another kill. Well i shouldn't say kill but a definite win by 4 or 5 car lengths. Why they even bother PRELUDES are the best!!! and there aren't even made no more

 

Go to the track and make it known.

Higher redline doesn't mean a lot more... Helps but, I raced a friend w/ a 00' Civic Si and pulled on him, I was in 5+K and he was in 6-7K. Plus he has many JDM and aftermarket parts - but then agian me too so it cancels out.

Prelude are WAY under rated. Stock H22A ave. 1/4 = 14.8xx. Type R stock 1/4 = 14.7xx -- Makes you think.

I would agree to an extent...I was just at the track with an ITR guy who's on Honda-Tech...in the one race we had...I won with my stock (intake) Lude. I pulled hard early on, and he barely caught me at the end. It was hot and humid as hell out, we ran 15.219/15.210.....I had a marginally slower time but I was better at the tree! He had at least Intake/Exhaust....

His friend walks over to my stock lude and says "is that all motor?" hahahaha I felt good
