I'm pretty sure i have a P2P in my 1997 Ex 1.6 sohc vtech i was wondering if i could put a different computer in my car and still be able to pass emissions and all that good stuff and still drive as a daily driver. I'm just looking for something a little faster but my car still be in perfect running condition...

nope only ecu you can put in there is obdI ecu, won't pass emissions with that one.
You can put in obdIIa ecu in your car but you won't gain anything because your ecu was made for your engine and putting one out of a different (b series) car will just make it run shittier.

Oh yes it does. OBD1 ECUs are easy to chip and tune, you just need a jumper harness to physically plug them in. They will not however pass emissions in several states.
