Electrical/ignition switch issue
Hi,
At the weekend I swapped the mpfi gear off a d15b7, along with the obd1 dash wiring loom, into my d15b2 obd0 hatch. For the 3 days since it ran great! No problems at all, I was loving it! But tonight, pulling onto my drive, my rev counter, speedo, and temperature gauges dropped to 0. The engine still starts and runs fine, but the car acts as if its on the key position 1 instead of 2, if I open the doors with the engine running and lights on I get a warning buzzer, which you shouldn't get with the engine on, or with the key on the last click. But, it still starts and runs and drives fine.. also the heaters don't work, as if it's on the first click rather than 'run'.
Has anyone had any similar problems? I'm stuck.. I was thinking maybe a fuse or relay had gone, but surely it wouldn't still fire up if that was the case?
Any input would be excellent, I'm stuck, and without a car
Thankyou in advance,
Jon
