I suggest getting the H&R Sport spring, they provide a good drop (1 finger gap) and are not too harsh of a ride.

Either Eibach Sportlines or Pro kits.

Any of these 3 (including H&R Sport) would provide a reasonable drop and reasonable ride quality.

I ran koni yellows w/eibach pro-kits for a year and really did not like the ride. I sold the eibachs and bought H&R Sports to mate with the koni yellows and loved them. I rode on that setup for about 3yrs.

get something with coilovers so you can adjust height....it would suck to have 1 or 2 corners lower/higher than the rest of the car.

Why would that suck? All FWD Hondas come from the factory that way...

Anyone who actually cares about how their car handles.

A corner is lower because that corner is heavier. If you raise the spring perch to level out the car, that already heavier corner will then be carrying even more weight. You'll throw the static weight distribution even further off than stock.

When a car is corner balanced, typically the heaviest corner is lowered until the scales show the static weights shift enough to even out the cross weights. While this makes the car sit even less level, it improves consistency of cornering behavior.

Of course, if appearance overrides performance in your preferences, then go ahead and level the car. Since most people want both, this then becomes a personal decision.

Daily driver, with no concern for tracking the car, and to be paired with Konis, I would recommend a good lowering spring from a company you trust. This is cheaper than threaded spring sleeves (GC type of setup), and will ride better as height adjustable springs typically run much stiffer rates than lowering springs (to allow significant lowering).

I have no personal experience with H&R, have read several complaints about them, but also several praises. The same goes for Eibach lowering springs, some love them and some hate them. I trust Eibach, which is why I would recommend either of their lowering spring kits.

Additionally, an even cheaper choice would be to use the stock springs on the lower circlip mount. A slight lowering, no increase in spring rate (no decrease in ride quality), and no additional cost.

I would recommend eibach sportlines. Although they are a little stiff, they have a good drop and a nice stiff solid feel. I heard about H&R's riding really nice but I have also seen complaints that they are just too soft. I am running sportlines on my civic and after the first 3-4 days of driving the car I got used to the ride and barely even notice the bumps anymore.

i would say to try the H&R RACE springs gives it a 2inch drop, and stiffer ride. this is the way i think about it: about $185 for h&r race springs on ebay, lowers car and gains performance, and you dont need to worry about height change. or ground controls which are *299* with either Off The Shelf rates *350fr/250r* or custom rates. h&r race ftw

I have H&R sports and yellows and its a pretty nice setup. But they are a bit soft for sport driving. This helps when going over bumps. They are more of a balance between sport and comfort. I think the rates are 280 F/R.

I would definitely not do that, You might as well cut the stock springs.

I put stocks on the front one lower with yellows for a temp fix til I bought better springs,
It rode Horrible, just think about how low your car sits with people in it at a Stock height.
Then think about how much lower it's going to go when it's low on stock springs.

I replaced them with Tein S-techs, I'm very happy with the height and ride.
