What are the things you want for your honda but can't Buy?
This is not meant to be a trick question but just a topic I thought might interest people.
While there's tons of parts for our cars. There are those perfomance upgrade parts that are just not available for some cars. As such we are forced to custom making are own stuff. Don't get me wrong i like customizing as well but there are certain parts you more or less wish could be bought especially if the time or money in not there to customize or pay someone to customize something for you.
One example I remember making your own custom mounts for the b16 swap in the EF civics. Fun at first but at the 5th install thank god for HASPORTS kit. Just wanted to open a discussion on such things and if people are in the same boat as I am.

hey man thats a start, seen a RWD civic with the S2000 engine. It looked bitchin. I wonder how it performed never got the chance to really talk to the guy.
22mm rear sway bar, 24mm front sway bar, strut tower bars, roll cage, carbon fiber hood, build my LS, twin plate clutch, 9lb flywheel, jdm fenders, headlights, taillights, and new tires all for my 94 Civic lol.
An extension plate to put between the stock wheel and steering column.
Not all of us who want to relocate the steering wheel are willing to both break the law and have less safety (no airbag in race wheels).

i wish that all mounts are the same for every motor, i kno it sounds stupid but when doin a motor swap that's the most expensive part besides the motor and same with me man a rwd civic would be fukin sick
im honestly getting tired of hondas been in the honda game for 9 years, have had basically every setup i ever wanted from all motor single cam to turbo single cam to all motor type r, never really been any faster then high 12's but thats fine because ive never really had much of a budget to build a race car, just a quick street car...
so guess i would just say, sell my honda, or just sell the motor swap and use the money to buy a 04 subaru sti because since ive driven one its been my dream car, 4 doors with power so i can haul my soon coming baby around without reaching into a backseat from the front seats
but w/e im blabbing...
build the type r to make 240whp id be very happy

Aluminum shock forks to replace those heavy cast iron units. They would reduce (semi)unsprung weight and improve handling by probably a neglible amount.
Ideally FEA would be performed to ensure that the design can handle the load and would be machined in some sort of high strength / corrosion resistant alloy that can handle salt spray from winter driving. 7075 has the strength but I am not too sure about its corrosion resistance.
Edit:
Just thought of something else: an aluminum hood. Something lighter than stock and not requiring hood pins (or potentially leading to this would be great. As a bonus, rock chips will no longer lead to rust.
