Default Falken Azenis street tire pressure questions

Ok first of all I’ve done a search but couldn’t find a sufficient answer. I know the general knowledge is that for auto-x you run higher pressure in your tires than when on the street but with the Falkens most people seem to run a lower tire pressure. I’ve seen 35/25, 31,29, etc… Anyway I went auto-x’ing this weekend and found 35/29 to work great for me but I was wondering what I should be running on the street for the Falkens?? What are you guys running, my search found a wide variety of different pressure and since I know a lot of us type-r guys are running these tires I’d just like to get a feel for the pressures you run on the street day to day. Also just out of curiosity why is it that for every other tire seemingly people run way higher pressures for auto-x but with the Falkens everyone runs lower; I’m an English major so if someone could explain the physics of this to me that’d be great thanks in advance -rob

I run 37F/35R. It works fine for me in daily driving.

It depends a lot on the width of the wheel... what size wheel do you have?
You can get away with lower pressures in the Falkens for autox with a 7" wheel - on a 6" wheel i am running 40f and 36r (still tuning) and it seems to be working well...

i have the standard 205/50/15's on stock rims, i think this is the most typical azenis type-r setup if i'm not mistaken. Btw when i was running the 29 in the back at the auto-x i had no rollover on my back sidewalls -rob

.....nobody's running higher rear pressures with these tires for autox?

How's the rotation?

I've been running 35F/33R with no problems on the street on my stock ITR rims. For autocrossing I've been running 42F/44-45R and it seems to be working well. I don't see how people are running lower numbers on the fronts- mine seemed to want to roll over at anything less than 42 or so.

I know Yoshi was running very high pressure in the back for autox... I gave that a try, and the car did rotate, but I didn't like how it felt all loosey-goosey. I like how I get a much more progressive and predictable feel with the lower rear pressures...
