i have a reactor battery from summit racing. other options include relocating the battery to the trunk so you can mount a yellow top optima. i saw a stinger battery which looked small but don't know the specs or prices of it off hand. really don't need an upgraded battery unless you're running a lot of accessories

I weighed the reactor vs my OEM vbattery and it was 2 lbs heavier. It does have 800 amps vs the 410 in the OEM though.

I foudn this batter and have in in my car currently.

Odyssey PC625 $99 265 CCA's, 13.2 lbs.

Reactor and PC625

Todd00 fund a tractor battery that weighs 15 lbs and has 310 CCA's and is $59.

265CCA seems pretty weak, I'm not sure if I would trust it on those few super-cold winter days/nights (and believe it or not, it gets colder in Starkville MS than it does in Nashville or Memphis).

No problems out of my Friend Erik who is King Motorsports webmasters 2000 Type-R. ANd considering where king is, if someone is gonna have trouble, he would.

I don't see too many days in Tennessee that are significantly belowe 32 degrees F. Occassional but not severe.
