are you running your EVAP setup? also check your fuel rail and make sure all the fitting are tight

There should be a canister on the back of your head or intake manifold which is your evap that recirculates the gas fumes through the vacuum lines and allws them to be filtered so you dont smell them in the cab. It's not really needed, i took it off my car and there is no smell. I had a similar problem but my fuel line adapter on the tranny side of the fuel rail wasnt tightened up all the way and it cause a small smell and leak. more then likely that is your problem. check all your fuel lines
