Default Autopower CAGE question

I posted on the EG forum since that's where I originally saw it, but just incase there are others here familiar with it, here it is again:

-----------------------------------
Did an extensive search and couldn't find it... but there's an individual I messaged awhile back who had the 6-pt. bolt-in Autopower cage (bars extending by the a-pillars). Had a couple of clearance questions in the EG.....

1) Can you still use the sun visors?
2) Can you open the glovebox?
3) Do the side bars hit the door panels?

Or if anyone knows (or has one), let me know.... checking out a few possibilties. Thanks.

2 is a no if you're speaking of an Integra. I know you mentioned the EG forum, but I'm not sure if that's what car you're referring to. Also, my door bars do not hit the panels, but my application is for a dc2.

Yeah.. it was a green EG that posted up (I saved the picts on my home computer) but wanted to know about the clearance issues for an EG.... I know DC is slightly different. Thanks for the input.

True... but it holds your registration papers (since the car is still "street legal") and misc **** like tire guage, small 10mm wrench, and other various trinkets used for racing

I'm seriously thinking of getting the roll cage instead of a weld-in drag cage since I want to do more road racing in my H22 hatch (drag is coo, but my **** is already fast for that... time for some new fun )

I was going to say why do you need sunvisors and glove boxes if you have a purpose built race car? Anything with more than 4 attachments for a roll bar is a purpose built race car anyway. Not practical for the street.

Take the sunvisors out and us MaD SkIlz vinyl for the windshield instead

For those not fortunate enough to have a tow vehicle, sunvisors would be nice...

BTW, when the door bars hit the door panels... do they prevent the door from closing period? Or just touching (which I can careless)? Is the removal of the stock door panels needed?

Newman, you may have seen my cage, I dunno but my car is green.

-The sun visors will be useless.
-You can still open the glovebox.
-If you install the forward hoops/door bars correctly, they will not hit the door panels. The trick is to mark the hole location with the doors closed so you know they clear.
