For someone in California, I think they're all poor choices. They're all-season tires, for people who need to use the same tires in snow and frigid cold as in moderate to warm temperatures, and can live with the compromise of poorer performance in each of those conditions in order to have the greater flexibility. If you never drive in snow, you can get MUCH better performance with summer tires. And not only are they all-seasons, but they're not very good when compared with the best all-seasons, either.

To answer your question, though, the ZE-912 is the replacement for the ZE-512, and the ZE-512 was the replacement for the ZE-502.

In that size, the Yokohama S.drive is $66/tire with free shipping, from Discount Tire Direct.

I use the Falken ZE-912 on my wife's 00 GSR 2dr and on here 99 Integra 4dr. They are very nice tires, but like nsxtasy said, they are more for all season driving (snow, rain, summer). I run Falken RT-615 on my 00 GSR. I love them. I run them year round (yes even a little snow, just have to be VERY careful on the brakes and gas).

If you live in Cali and don't see any snow, get a dedicated summer tire. I like the Nitto Neo-Gen. Great tire. Quality is great and so is the ride and wear.

Also depends on how much money you want to spend.

Many of them, especially their cheap all-seasons, are just plain crap. The Azenis is a notable exception.

The NeoGen is an all-season tire, not a summer tire.

dang really. I haven't looked at them in a while since I've been running the RT-615's. But still, they are a really nice tire. Well at least I liked them and had zero complaints running on them.

I think its 280 tread wear and with the built in harder inner tire to reduce camber wear, it's a pretty good tire overall. I would recommend the NeoGen.

In moderate to warm temperatures, good summer tires perform better than the NeoGen. That's why, for someone who lives in an area where it never snows or gets frigid cold, the S.drive is a better choice. The S.drive is also less expensive than the NeoGen, and the NeoGen isn't available in the 195/50-15 size that the OP needs - which are two more reasons why the S.drive is a better choice.
