problem taking heatshield off of a d16z6
When i try to take it off i can see that the 02 sensor is in the way, going through the heatshield. Then i try to unclip the o2 sensor so that it goes through tthe heatshield but when i unclip it, it is still connected to the engine block. The part that comes off is the other part of the clip which is clip somewhere else.
How can i take this off pls, is causing some rattling and is pissing me off?

K so first of all i wanna thank 12.8:1 Ls/vte. It actually had a small clip on the back of the electrical connector. All i had to do was press it and wiggle it a little bit. It came off easily. Fortunately my stock manifold is not rusted so it doesn't look like ****. Winter is almost here so i dont care anyways. Next year im expecting a swap and new headers will come as well....
Here are so pics of what the connector looks like in a d16z6. As you can see i needed to disconnected in order to take the heat shield off. Or unscrew the o2 sensor but the later one is a bitch.
Thanks guys
-The blue arrow is the cable coming from the o2 sensor.
-The red one is the cable going somewhere else, I assume is the ECU or something like that to control the level of carbon monoxide coming from the explosion in the pistons.
