Default ***Another Temp Guage Question***

Ok, I did search but didnt get any help from it. I just did a B16 swap in my Si and the temp rises to the top as soon as I start the car. And it slowly goes down when I accelerate but then goes back up when I slow down. I did check to make sure the sensor (one wire) was plugged in, it was NOT. So, I plugged it in and still have the same problem. I have also replaced the thermostat, checked the coolant level and bled the coolant. Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks H-T.

Sounds as if you have a grounding issue. If you pull your radio fuse, disconnect both pos and neg battery terminals and then touch them together, you will ground everything out (safely), you will erase all memory in the car. Put everything back together and see if you still have an issue. If you do, then you most likely have a loose ground, or faulty sensor. hope this helps
