Default Wheel hop elimination

I was just curious what some of you guys are doing to prevent wheel-hop. I've been checking out some polyurethane motor mounts aswell as engine dampers.

This SHOULD cure my wheel-hop, right?

NOTE: On Spoon lightweight replica 15's with Falken Ziex 912's. No P/S, cruise, A/C, /neuspeed springs on KYB GR2's, and boosted.

Thanks!

Traction bar, explicitspeed seems to be the main one in use for ludes right now.

That was also something I was checking out. Just seems like once VTEC kicks in there's a fairly large amount of wheel-hop.

Has anyone tried the engine dampners on there H22?

There is the Ingalls "stiffy" for the fifth gen, but not the fourth gen, my buddy was the test car when they made it, and he loves it, although his engine is basically stock.

You can also look into stiffer poly for the stock radius roads as opposed to a traction bar at first, to make the system better than stock.

learning how to launch at the correct RPM will also eliminate wheel hop

PFI traction bar (whatever brand should be fine) & Innovative engine mounts and all I get is wheel spin

I went through the inserts and torque damper stuff, but you only get what you pay for: wheel hop goes down but engine vibrations are pretty bad.

I'd much rather have wheel-spin than wheel-hop. Losing an axle at the track is no fun.

As for launching (Drag-trim), my stutterbox is set at 3800rpm.

Thanks for the input!

how much boost?
general rule of thumb:
wheel hop = get stronger mounts, maybe even a traction bar but mounts will do the trick
wheel spin for street = boost controller/get better suspension/tires
wheel spin at track = lower tire pressure or slicks

and preload ftw
