my car says i have little under a half tank and i ran out of gas last night... the light was coming on but i figured that it was messed up and the gauge worked.. found out its the other way around. the gas light is correct and the gauge itself doesnt work... what can i do to fix that, and why would it still say i have a half tank?????

 

First try another cluster to rule out its the gauge, Other wise it will be the float, dont know how its set up in a da9 but in a da6 you will have to drop the whole tank out the bottom.

 

yeah new cluster sounds best idea. don't trust the gas light normally but you on other hand might have to go by mileage.
