I NEED HELP PLEASE CRX WONT START!!!!!

when i try to crank my car all i hear is the starter turning. i thought it was the starter not engaging but its not that i just replaced it today. please help
sounds like the main relay
turn the key to the on position without cranking it, listen for the fuel pump to prime, and after you should here a click coming from under your dash. if you dont hear the click, its your main relay.

when i turn the key i hear just the starter turning the engine doesnt even turn over. is that the relay? when i turn the key the check engine light stays on longer than normal then i hear the relay click and it goes off.

you need 3 things for the motor to run.
fuel
compression
and
spark.
check for all 3 at the engine...
when you turn the key you should hear the fuel pump prime your fuel lines.
if you dont hear this !SEARCH! for !MAIN RELAY! and look into yours.
if you deduce that your main realy is okay, or if you replace it with a working one and your problem persists, check for fuel. check for compression/do a leak down test. and check for spark.
also check to see if the rotor on your dizzy might have come unscrewed <- common problem

well my CEL is always on and for whatever messed up reason the car runs better with it on, lol, its messed up but 2 years later and car runs strong, as long I warm her up before driving all good, no idle or acceleration problems. lucky I guess.
