well everyone long story short was at work today came out to find i have a smashed window in my passanger side. never thought i would have a theft problem with my boosted em1 in the middle of nowhere pa. but i guess when u drive them they will try to steal them. luckily hit my killswitch and had my alarm set otherwise it might not have been there when i came out. thank god for viper alarm systems. i have pics of the aftermath later. what pisses me the most off is i was planning on going to the track this weekend. and this weekend is the last week for it.

 

So besides the window, is everything else intact? Maybe they just broke the window to steal something that was visible.

 

I recommend getting one of these alarms

 

This alarm is great, but what good would that do when this alarm is not around, since you have to carry it with you and you don't see when the action is taking place to your car. not good right....

no unfortunately i wanstt able to get it fixed in time for the track. but this morning i made a recent discovery that i was unaware of last night. found out i had about 1k in cds stolen from my car never really noticed it till this morning was worried about other **** with the car before anything else.

 

Well I'm sorry to hear about the cd lost, hope nothing else is stolen or broken then.

it really sucks how people think they deserve what you worked for. pisses me off everytime

 

garaging your car, getting cameras around the house, and other stuff would work, i would personally get a shotgun and blow a few shells to get my car back in one piece.

 

your not the only one that would sling some shells i made a recent discovery i have a lead one who might have done it. a guy that works where i work. his friends place is like a quater mile up the road where i work and there was a party there the night it happened. so when i go into work tomorow im going to check the cameras to see if i can see anything about it. if i see who it was thats when i go bashing heads. the funny thing is they stole all my cds that were about a thousand buck about a 100 of them and no they werent burned cds i buy my cds. but they didnt take my 1300 dollar laptop that was right next to my cds my digital camera or my other headunit that was all right by my cds. its screwed up.

 

dude they will come back. For the last month the same guys have been trying to steal my car and I almost caught one of them once. He had to jump off a 30 foot balcony to escape my baseball bat. I now cable my car to the parking garage, hit a kill switch, se an alarm, use a clutch AND brake lock and pray to god they dont get it. pretty annoying. They just have to watch out for the razor blades around the hood cable if you tey and open it from the outside

 

Dude why you rollin with laptop and camera and all that in a boosted sled anyway you know your going to be noticed in a em1 with boost then leave all that in it

 

well because i needed it after work had some work to do and not to mention i live in the middle of nowhere and everyone knows everybody for the most part.

 

feeling your pain..some one stole my girls rex that was our long time build...and now i lock up like crazy and double killswitch both my teggy and her eg...F**K thieves

Agreed. My EM1 just got stolen Nov 1st after they tried stealing her in Sept. Used a tow truck. Had numerous kills on her, so I know they didnt get her started.
