Ok so I've come along way since the last time I did my first build...now Im looking to build something a little more faster than the last...

I spent alot of money on the last build...Same as this one....

THE NEW BUILD:

-k20a2 head Skunk2 Complete valvetrain
-K24a1 Block TSX Pistons, Type-s oil pump Block only had 20k Minty!
-Hytech Header
-Kpro
-stage 2.9 DSS Axles
-6 speed Type-s trans
-Hybrid Harness
-Golden Eagle Fuel Rail
-AVID motor mounts=( I wanted Hasport but oh well....Trades? lol
-New o2 sensor

Im looking to do atleast 230whp....I want to think realistic:dance:

I heard good things about the k20/k24 swaps:up: we WILL SEE!:up:

nice build. what color is that hatch? keep us updated on the new build...cant wait to see it.

 

thanks man...the color is mazda 626 mineral grey...but I didn't paint it...it was painted when I got it....More pics in a second.

 

cool cool...for some reason the front of that hatch just looks menacing.

 

power washing the new set up got it all crusty and ****...sike no it was pretty clean already but I cleaned it up more:p

that bubble looks really clean..how much was spent on parts??

 

what cams? skunk2? what stage? what intake cam gear?

becareful of valve to piston clearances with stock tsx pistons? also are the pistons overbore or standard? if standard you may have ring sealing issues

 

hmm, 230whp? my buddy made 263 whp from a b20 block with b16 head. built. all motor. and i've seen a k20/24 setup make 400+ hp in a magazine...

 

Just don't come over to Baltimore, I don't feel like trying to race a hatch that I think has a b16 in it, and it has this lol.

 

haha...I spent over over $10k on the k-series set up in the hatch..with added suspension components and many other add on's.....The coupe should be fun.


on that b20/b16...thats great k-series is more unique and a hell of alot reliable than b-series IMO. but hey to which is own...

Oh yeah on the Built set up...A very reputable shop in Florida built the motor and did 12.4 in a EK EX coupe....we will see what happens.

I bought my FUEL SET UP today at SPeed Unlimited...Im happy! yay! I might be getting NEW RBC and karcepts adapter tomorrow....
