I recently purchased a 91 CRX with a B16 engine swap. The swap looks real clean, and it runs well and pulls hard, but.....here is the problem, the engine feels like it is pulsing when driving without a load, as if it is running REAL lean. As mentioned, its not noticable at all under load, it is currently getting 35-37 mpg on 92. Timing, temp sensor, O2 sensor?

Any ideas?

is there a check light? look at your ecu and see if any codes are coming up

Fuel pump sounds weak to me.

 

try this change your fuel fillters check injectors if not it could be your dizzy cap and rotor and also try your iats ( intake air temp sensor)
