Default Code22(Could my chipped p28 be the problem)?

I have an 89 Civic with a B16, the car has been converted OBD1. The car throws code 22 which is: vtec oil pressure switch. It randomly comes on and when i turn the car and then back on the code goes away but comes back after a while. <U>Could my chipped p28 ecu be the problem? </U> I havent had the time to check the wiring but I will soon, But first I am going to try another ecu and see what happens. Anyone have any advice?

try a stock, un-molested ecu and see if you get the same code.

if not its the ecu

if you still have code, replace vtec pressure solenoid

I inspected vtec pressure solenoid and the plug was bad so I just replaced it and it is fixed.
