Default NEED HELP: SPARK PLUG EXPOLSION

i was getting onto the freeway and in 3rd gear my car seemed to have died on me. long story short, i pulled over and got it towed to my house. i popped my hood and to my surprise my spark plug cover on the engine was cracked and one of me spark plugs were showing. so apparently, the spark plug (2nd one) shot up while driving and actually cracked the silver strip on my engine. so now heres the question, wtf happened? im a total noob when it comes to spark plugs, my spark plugs are denso spark plugs which i bought awhile ago. am i screwed? do i gotta get a new engine (internal problems..i.e. pistons?) or im praying that i just have to get new spark plugs. any help would be great guys. ill be uploading a pic in about an hour so u guys can better understand what the hell happened. its been a long day..

thanks.

Eather your thread on the spark plugs or head has been stripped or it wasn't done up tight enough.

Hope for it just being the spark plugs thread. Then you just need to buy new ones.

If it was lose and shot out it would of taken some of the heads tread. Hopefully not to much so you can still just get some new plugs.

If the heads stripped its going to cost you a bit to get fixed. New head or get it machined.
Eather way your going to have to take it off.

And unlikely but could of happen is your piston came off the rod on the upstroke and smacked in to the spark plug. But thats very unlikely normally they brake on the down stroke or the spark plug just melts though them.

That is really weird.

I wonder if the plug became loose or was on its last thread and a cylinder power stoke shot it out like a rocket.

Pics of the plug!
