Default FS: 1993 Honda Prelude Si-VTEC!!!

1993 Honda Prelude Si-VTEC 5-speed. Black with black/gray interior. Around 240k miles on the odometer. Runs, drives(see below), and could pass inspection. Clean salvage title still in last owner's name, he signed it and I didn't...no price or date written down either...ready for the next owner.

*Near-complete project car. Doesn't need much more work to be a reliable daily driver.*

The good-

-Low mile motor recently swapped in - jdm h22a
-Lower mile transmission recently swapped in - usdm h23a
-Starts up and runs great, driven only 40-50 miles since swap
-Will pass inspection
-Power windows
-Power locks
-Moonroof(see "bad" list below)
-Heat
-Cruise control
-Clean/polished 10th anniversary Accord wheels(see "bad" list below)
-A/C(see "bad" list below

The bad / It needs-

-Needs front inner fender plastic liners
-Needs alignment
-Needs at least 2 new tires
-Needs professional ECU tune eventually, currently running on xenocron temp tune
-Needs carpet
-Needs stereo system
-Needs rear speaker covers
-Needs spark plug cover(not important, just for looks)
-Needs a clutch eventually, oem clutch is worn and stutters when shifting at high RPMs
-Needs A/C compressor, condensor and lines...they were removed during motor swap
-Needs seats and various other interior parts re-installed, last owner unbolted everything to sell the carpet...I have all the parts EXCEPT the carpet
-May need speedometer replaced because odometer and tripmeter do not work...everything else DOES work(speedometer, tachometer, etc)
-Needs minor body work and paint. Car is black, passenger fender is oem red, driver fender is certa-fit black, front bumper is certa-fit black, hood is oem bondoed/red
-Corner of core supper behind passenger corner lens was pushed back about 1.5", tried to pull it back out all the way but couldn't...easy fix for someone experienced with that line of work. Only noticeable from the corner lens not sitting completely flush with fender and bumper
-*Recommended* new timing belt, and auto-to-manual belt tensioner swap since it's an imported motor. Not necessary, but highly recommended by many honda guys

The new/recent parts-

-Oil change with Pennzoil non-synthetic 10w30
-Pennzoil Synchromesh transmission fluid
-PCV valve
-Spark plugs(I think)
-Distributor cap
-Distributor rotor
-Passenger side lower ball joint
-Pads look new, not replaced by me
-Rotors look new, not replaced by me
-jdm h22a motor, under 40k original miles, fully converted to USDM
-usdm h23a transmission, around 140k miles if I remember correctly

The aftermarket goodies(all installed and working)-

-RyWire vtec sub-harness
-Aluminum civic radiator
-12" universal slim radiator fan
-2.5" cat-back exhaust / OEM cat
-Twin-loop muffler
-Megan Racing header & downpipe...used and a bit banged up, but it does the job
-USDM p28 ecu chipped by phearable and temp-tuned by Xenocron
-Spare USDM p28 ecu, chipped by me, blank chip, gave me a false fuel check engine light(with xenocron tune) which forced itself in to "safe mode" and revlimited me at 3500rpm...Xenocron inspected and said nothing was wrong...may work fine with different tune or in a different car
-stainless 2.5" short-ram intake system

Some quick math tells me I have around $2500 invested in this car, most likely a bit more than that. It doesn't need much more to be finished, and could easily sell for double the amount invested when done. Don't pass up your chance to jump on a sweet jdm-h22a project car. I drove this before trading the steelie wheels/good tires for better wheels/bad tires...it's fast and rides really nice. I just don't have time for any projects right now, between work and my kid.

Again, it does start up and run perfectly...but you need to buy at least 2 new tires / an alignment / and possibly a clutch in order to drive this car. I can tell you the cheapest places to go for tires(around 60-80shipped for 2) and for a clutch(around $100shipped for an Exedy OEM replacement). That's the least amount you could spend to get it on the road, but I'd also recommend getting it tuned and throwing on some fender liners to keep rainwater and stuff from getting up in the engine bay.

Asking $2500obo, as-is...it says "obo" so don't be afraid to make an offer!!! Buyer must pick this vehicle up from Marshfield Missouri area(near Springfield), you will need a way to haul/tow it.

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS IF YOU AREN'T SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING!!!

EDIT: I'm interested in trading for 90-93 Integras(manual only), 94+ Integras(manual only) and 92-95 Civics(manual only). Preferably stock. Must be in CLEAN/COMPLETE/RUNNING/DRIVING condition! Either even trade, or your car+cash...depending on what you have and what condition it's in.

Last bump, if it doesn't sell within the next few days I'm just going to finish it and throw it on ebay next summer for a hell of a lot more.
