I have a 1993 civic SI with a hesitation problem, when its cold it runs fine, then when it warms up a bit it seems to miss and shake, also its rpm searching, once the rpms hit around 3500 its fine ,but anything less and it shakes, and even with 3500 when you put it down to the mat it wont go anyplace, you can hear it missing too, i have gotten the valves adjusted(i know its just for a noise issue but i got it done when i got the camshaft looked at) the camshaft was fine, i also checked timing, installed new temp sensor, changed rotor, changed coil, have cap on order, tried disconnecting the vtec selonoid, and it didnt change anything with the problem., i have changed spark plugs and got the wires tested. now when i changed the spark plugs one of them was broken in half, when i changed them it worked great for the day and then the problem started again, i since checked the spark plugs and they are fine.. i have took this car to honda dealerships and everything and have had hours worth of mechanics helping me to resolve this issue and now its gotten to the point were no one can figure it out, so does anyone else have some ideas that i could possible give a whirl? anything even a guess to try would help, thanks!

 

Any check engine lights we should know about? Have you tried another igniter?

 

no check engine and i have checked the ignitor and replaced the fuel filter
