Default 98 Accord LX power window issue

All 4 windows won't roll down, all fuses are checked/good and no broken or frayed wires found. What should I try next? The drivers side main window switch is hooked up and nothing is unplugged anywhere. Can't figure it out, any help would be appreciated

Is the master lock-out switch engaged?

It's a child safety thing which goes back quite a way.

Do the power locks work? If not, I have a fix.

Hello, I have a similar problem on my Accord 98 LX 4 - power door locks do not work any more, and passenger side power windows can not be controlled by driver's switch, but strange enough they can be controlled by switches on passenger side doors (driver side power windows are fine). This just happened today, I checked fuse, all looked fine. Please help!

Thanks!

Hello All,

I searched web last night all over the place and found following post from another site:

try resetting the multiplex system on the car.

set the intermitant wiper time to the middle position
turn the key on/off/on without starting the car</TD></TR></TABLE>

Even though it was hard for me to believe that this will work, I went down to my garage in the middle of the night and tried it - it worked!

Thanks to jweller, and I want to share with you guys, hope it will help someone else too.
