i just ordered a set of jdm eg6 headlights for my eh3. The problem is that they have eg8 written on them. Hmotors says that they are all the same and they will fit no problem.
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't 4 door headlights a different size? Hm says that jdm headlights are all the same.
I don't want to start cleaning these up and have them not fit. TIA

 

the headlights are the same across the board. the corner lights are differnt though, coupe and hatch are the same, sedans are different

I checked the lights out. They are defiantly different. I tried to fit them in and there wasn't a way.
They do not match on all four mounting points. The usdm has an alignment ring while the jdm has internal alignments.

 

hmm. Thats weird. I just double checked, hatch coupe and sedan headlights all have the same part numbers. So I don't understand why the JDM ones don't fit.

 

I tried the drivers side and didn't have a problem. I found out that my bumper reinforcement on the passenger side needs to be tweaked a little.
