San Diego: Who needs stock catback for smog or ref? NOT A F/S F/T ad... FREE!
I just had a full custom catback made up for my 91 si hatch and it passed smog
i have been waiting to pass smog since 2007. if you in SD im offering to rent it for FREE!!! thats right FREE!!! trying to get know here so when i go to meets or events im not the loner (LOL)
here is how it works or how i have the plan for it to work...
you come to my house, swap your catback for mine, leave a deposit ($50) or i can go to the smog shop with you, you smog your car you return the catback and you get your deposit back.. sounds simple but if anyone has a better idea for how this would work let me know..
Message me here im on honda-tech daily..

Technically speaking an aftermarket exhaust doesn't (or at least shouldn't) affect smog. Then again, that will ultimately depend on the smog tech and how much they wanna make life harder for you.
And for those that might jump in and say I'm wrong, I have a personal friend that is a smog tech that told me so. And yes, I do my smog (sometimes through him, sometimes through random shops) with my aftermarket exhaust on without it causing any issues.
And to the OP, good looking out by letting people use your parts. It might actually be more useful for people that get modified exhaust tickets. Maybe you should just add that you'll loan out your stock exhaust for smog or correction purposes into your signature so that people will see it everytime you post.
