Default Brake pedal hard after service

Hey,

My car was serviced today. I find the brake pedal to be hard(now it was pretty soft before this). New pads were installed and the calipers were serviced. The braking is a lot better now very touchy will stop on a dime compared to what it was. But yeah the pedal seems hard, is that the way its supposed to be? I drive a newer civic and corolla on occasion and the brakes in the teg are now pretty hard compared to those so it just doesn't seem right..

In the past when i had brakes serviced, i had the opposite. The brakes were soft for the first few days and then stiffened up which i think is the norm.

It is meant to be hard.
New fluid = less movement
new pads = less movement
less movement = hard pedal.

I don't think it is meant to be hard. I have driven brand new cars and the brakes are like what mine were before they were done.

every time I flush/bleed my brakes they are rock solid, no movement at all. But you just need to rest your foot on the peddle and they engage.

Then after a few laps of racing they are all spongy from the boiled fluid.
