Default ITR Cluster install

hey guys,
i just bought an ITR cluster, and my question is that do i have to remove the whole dash to install the cluster???

No, just unscrew the bezel first, then the four screws holding the cluster in there. Unclip the plugs in the back and reverse with ITR cluster.

i have a 98', so as long as its a 98 itr cluster it should plug right up correct??? or will i have to splice and plug

i rand into some problems when i installed jdm itr cluster.. had to remove all the gauges off the itr cluster and re-install them on my oem cluster apparently the circuitry is different.. lol

you're supposed to replace the green film on back with your current cluster

it's only if you switch through 94-97 to 98+ that you have to swap the circuit board (green film). If you go from 96 itr to a 96 LS for instance it's plug and play, same with 98 itr cluster to 98 LS/RS/GS, it's plug and play. But 96 ITR cluster to 98 and vice versa is not plug and play but would need the circuit board swapped over.

If you have a 96 spec ITR cluster, I did NOT suggest swapping the green films.
