My open hatch light will not go out. I make sure I slam it closed and its still on! I even pushed the lock closed maually w/ the hatch up to see if it wasn't catching and it still lights up. Anybody know what to do? Thanks

 

there is a complete circuit being made somewhere in your wiring. possibly in the switch or whatever. to make the circuit not complete, take out the bulb and then no problems!

Or DON'T Half *** it, and find out where the problem is and FIX it RIGHT

i think my post came off wrong cycopath. i meant to say that if he cant find the reason the circuit is complete, he can always take the bulb out.

cycopath, its interesting that our sigs are about the same person...

 

one of two things, you have a short in the ground side of the light.
OR the switch in the latch got bent somehow and is not opening when you close the hatch. (happened to me when I had to replace the latch and window due to thieves)
