I rode all of this week. Wednesday was especially bad, there was wet snow coming down, luckily it all melted on the road. I'll probably ride for one more week. I've been wearing long johns and that helps when its 32 outside.
wasn't there already a thread about this?
anyway, i'll keep riding until there is salt on the road. been half-assedly looking for a crappy dirt bike for the snowy/salty days

as much as i love riding i like having a winter season where i can park the bike and do some winter projects. once it warms up the feeling of getting on the horse again feels so great.
anyway im still riding, ill stop when they salt the roads or it gets under 30 degrees.

I had the aprilia out last saturday in 48 degree weather in WI and got caught in some rain and 25mph winds....talk about scary! had the back end shaking at 65mph while downshifting...I'm thinking the wind/rain definately had something to do with it.
I'm still riding. Atlanta, Georgia. Not too terribly cold yet. Definitely a lot less bikes out now though.
Pickup up some sweet gloves the other day, new helmet too. I wear my thermals when I ride. I really need to invest in some decent pants and riding boots/shoes.

I did the end of year service and put it in storage on Oct. 17 last year, and the same thing happened again this year out of coincidence. Perhaps it's the start of a little 'tradidtion'. Of course, I'm always kicking myself when I see bikes out here on a warm autumn day in MI. Yesterday several bikes were out. It's on storage insurance so I can

I wouldn't be downshifting in those conditions... although fun in the sun, it doesn't seem very safe in adverse conditions. if you need to slow and drop a gear, (say, 90' turn in the city) hold the clutch in, select appropriate gear, revmatch if possible, and resume riding.
