so i hear there's a way to make a d-series alternator fit on a b-series... does anyone know how this is done?

I've been told before by an actual honda mechanic that yes it can be done. The way D-series alternator is set up it will sit back further, and it might require a longer belt, I really wish i could remember for sure if it did or not.

 

When I went from a D to a B I just reused mine???

 

i remeber getting the wrong alternator 1 time it was a d series and it didnt come close to fitting of wat i can remember. but it was a few years ago.

it will fit you need a smaller belt and to make a bracket for the top because it sits farther away
