I learned a valuable lesson this week...Don't buy used parts sight unseen! I bought a full rear disc swap from a 90-93 integra from my co-worker's friend, to put on my 91 Civic Si hatch. Problem is I didn't see it before I bought it and the trailing arms and bushings are junk, calipers and pads are junk, rotors are junk, hubs are junk, ebrake cables are ok, and spindles are ok, now that I sand blasted and painted them.

My dilemna is that the 91 hatch is just my winter beater. Now, I gotta put a couple hundred bux into this swap to make it useable cause the guy already spent the money I gave him and I can't return the junk.

Rather than drop all that money into my winter beater, can I use this same stuff on my 98 Civic EX? I don't want to swap any trailing arms etc. I'm hoping I can just remove the drums and spindles from my trailing arms, and bolt the "new" spindle on, use a new integra hub, caliper, and ebrake cables.

I don't see why it wouldn't work, unless the bolt holes in the 98 EX trailing arms are not the same as the DA Integra spindles. I tried searching this, but it seems that everyone is going with the 99-00 si stuff, not older integra parts.

unfortunatlely i dont think you can use those rear disc brakes on a ej. i think they only bolt with ef/da cars. dc/eg/ek/ej all work together but i do not think the brakes on your ef will work on your ej.
