Hello, I just picked up a '97 prelude base and was wondering what the vehicle history is. Its got a salvaged title and I wanted to know why. Anyone know where I can get a free VIN check or can anyone possibly do that? Thanks

 

Things to do before I buy a car:

1) Carfax
2) Test drive
3) Get it inspected

If you can afford a car you can afford the $15 Carfax

Check the v.i.n. BEFORE buying a car, you might of got screwed on that deal if you find out now that the car was stolen, crashed, then flooded.

 

Thanks for the advice...as stated in the original post I've already bought the car and used judgement before I made the purchase. Can anyone answer my original question?

 

find someone who has a carfax and give him a *******. seriously just pay someone with a subscription already and buy 1 carfax off him
