Default D16Z6 valve springs and retainers in a D15B2 head?

Just woundering if aftermarket valve springs and retainers for a D16Z6 will work on a D15B2 head. I can't find any aftermarket springs or retainers for the D15B2 anywhere. So will D16Z6 valve springs and retainers work on a D15B2?

D15B2 valve springs:
free length - intake = 48.58mm - exhaust = 49.19mm
installed height - intake = 46.985mm - exhaust = 48.965mm

D16Z6 valve springs:
free length - intake = 57.97mm - exhaust = 58.41mm
installed height - intake = 53.165mm - exhaust = 53.165mm

the D15B2 and D16Z6 valves are not the same

Well that sucks. It's hard to find anything performance wise for a D15B2. I was mostly hoping that the valve springs were the same. Anyways, thanks for the info.

You can use any spring made for the d16a6 in a b15b2. They have the same valves and head casting.

Ya, I was able to find that much out on old posts I seached. I knew the non-vtec D16A6 was the same, just wasn't sure about the D16Z6. I acually found a company that makes aftermarket valve springs rated to 9900rpms for the D15B2. The company is Bisimoto. They have a few products for Honda's vtec and non. It took awhile to find this company, but they have a bit of stuff to build a sohc non vtec.
