My engine currently have over 185k (94 LS) and still runs strong. I've thought about putting a turbo on my teg. I know I will have to do a compression check and leakdown test to make sure it wont blow up right away. I'm thinking about 6 pounds of boost daily driver. I know its all about good tuning but do you think this is waste of money? Should I save some this money for a VTEC swap? Does anyone here have/had a high mileage LS with a turbo? How long did it last you?

As long as your results from the compression test/leakdown test come back good.. I think your all clear..

6lbs should be pretty reliable and should be peppy with a good tune.

IMHO.. i think it's worth it.. I'm boosting my b20 here in the next week or two.. so i'll let you know
