with p30 pistons in a gsr bottom with a gsr head your compression should be around 11.5

If you plan to change the pistons. Which I suggest you do anyway since you already took off the head. If you still want to stick with OEM+, slap on the JDM or USDM ITR pistons. But of course JDM will yield a slight higher cr. Or even go CTR pistons, which are fairly higher cr. But you would need to run a higher oct. fuel.

p30's are from a jdm b16. did they get damaged from hitting the valves? if not i would keep them, they actually have higher compression than jdm itr pistons

itr pistons are p73's

They are actually perfect, no damage from hitting the valves at all. So today I replaced the valves and guides. I was putting the cams back on and noticed a hairline crack on the exhaust cam where the cam gear bolts up. I bolted the cam gear to the cam and it split (they were golden eagle stage 4 cams too) </TD></TR></TABLE>
That doesn't sound right.... I've never seen a stock honda cam break without everything else being broken first (rockers, valves, cam was melted into the head from lack of oil) I'd try talking to the company and seeing if this happens a lot it could be a casting flaw or something!
